“Occupational Medicine and Environmental Health Services (OMEHS) at Marshall Space Flight Center, Alabama”
The scope of work for this $12M+ contract is to provide occupational medicine services, such as physical examinations, emergency treatment (including ambulance support), training, education, and other miscellaneous tasks. The Industrial Hygiene portion provides surveys, studies, investigations and appropriate exposure monitoring of potential chemical, physical or biological hazards for MSFC’s more than 200 buildings and structures. Health Physics services include monitoring of radiation workers, the review of proposed operation plans involving radiation to ensure adequate protective measures are incorporated into layouts and engineering drawings, and serving as the Radiation Safety Officer for MSFC. Respiratory protection services include training/fit testing/maintenance for respirators used by NASA and other personnel.
With many years of combined experience working in the Occupational Medicine and Environmental Health programs, our staff has an excellent knowledge of the facilities, programs, operations, personnel, and systems that are required. AJT is consistently rated with MSFC’s highest performance ratings, including “EXCELLENT”, under this contract. AJT has developed a very successful team approach to its contracts, and accordingly, AJT has made it a policy to work closely with its customers to address any potential concerns, explore ways to improve services, assist with special requests, and increase the value of our services.
