Construction Management
AJT has subcontracted several million dollars of design and construction over the past few years. These subcontracts have been with companies from all over the U.S. for work at sites in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Colorado and California. Our extensive experience including construction projects at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Kennedy Space Center, Orlando International Airport, and many other locations assures our surveillance and construction management is of the highest accuracy and quality. This experience, along with our experienced Contracts Department allows AJT to offer services not typically offered by an A&E company.
AJT's policy of effective quality control must begin with the project design. Our Construction Management group participates in all AJT designs through comprehensive constructability reviews. Our procedures incorporate Construction Management during the design process to ensure constructability, value engineering, and quality control.
We assign a Construction Manager to each project who is accountable for tracking and identifying design deviations. AJT is well aware that many projects have unique quality control challenges. Our knowledge and our broad range of talents will enable us to provide effective and sound approaches to properly meet those challenges. Each project is scheduled using either Primavera or Microsoft Project. The Construction Manager monitors the project status daily and evaluates any issues that can effect cost-overruns or underruns.
