Occupational Health
AJT provides Occupational Medicine and Environmental Health Services (OMEHS) to NASA, Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), Alabama. The scope of this project is to perform surveys, studies, investigations and appropriate exposure monitoring to identify, evaluate and control potential chemical, physical or biological hazards in the work environment which can cause illness, injury, disease or impaired well-being. AJT also provides laboratory support to analyze and evaluate environmental, biological and radiological materials. Services also include in-service physical examinations, preventive and health promotion programs, occupational health surveillance programs, employee counseling services, and work-site health promotion activities. Emphasizing health and productivity, AJT supports basic and clinical research in environmental health sciences and exposure assessment, constantly working to find underlying causes of problems and recommending innovative and cost-effective solutions.
